With over 300k Smartcards shipped to universities in the first six months of last year and double digit growth expected in this sector in the first half of 2008 Cardzgroup has solidified itself as a preferred supplier to over 12 universities around the world.

| Cardzgroup announces first rollout of Mifare 1k PETG Mifare cards |

Cardzgroup is pleased to announce the first successful rollout of over 100k PETG Mifare 1k cards for a major new transportation project.
"We have been listening to our customers and the consensus has been that they want alternatives to the more common PVC substrate", says Scott Richardson (MD). "The advantages of PETG have been well documented such as durability, and safer disposal. Although looking at a marginally higher cost customers are now prepared to pay a premium if they can differentiate their offering from their competitors while at the same time acknowledging their own concern about the environment".

Cardzgroup have now added Thermo Rewritable cards to our product lines for standard PVC and Smartcards. These cards, commonly used in loyalty programs, allow the user to insert the card into a printer and update the information contained on the face can be thermally written, erased, and re written many times.

Cardzgroup is pleased to announce the delivery of over 500k Self Adhesive Cards for Western Europe. These cards, focusing on the Education market cement Cardzgroup's position as a quality solution across all PVC/Smartcard product lines.
"Self Adhesive cards have been a very successful product during the last two years", says Jim Baillie (President). "For those markets where smartcard migration has not extended to all channels, where cost concerns are paramount and there are few security concerns that warrant a need for a smartcard solution (eg Primary School ID) we have found this to be a very suitable product".
Self Adhesive Product Notes
These cards, commonly made with a single PVC core are pre-printed with UV ink on both sides followed by varnish. Commonly, a clear sig panel surface is located on one side of the card for customers to write their details. A part of the card is also reserved for the addition of a paper photo wherein the customer will then peel the self adhesive layer which will then adhere to the photograph to keep it in place and protect the details the customers have written.
